Love at the Flower Shop
Strolling down the street
The love in their eyes is so sweet.
Hand in hand they walk for hours
They stop to admire the beautiful flowers.
The scent is strong and colors bright.
He knows the time is finally right.
He hands her a beautiful bouquet.
His determination does not sway.
Down on his knee, he hands her a ring
"I love you my dear, this isn't a fling
I want to be with you for the rest of my life,
please do me the honor and be my wife"

The Hubby said, "You know, if we got married, you'd have health insurance." I was working in real estate at the time, and he had a full-time job. I didn't answer him, other than "True". The next day, we went to a professional hockey game, and were eating dinner at a restaurant when The Hubby said that I hadn't answered him yesterday. So, he said, "Will you marry me?" and the guy at the table next to us just about fell over, 'cause he could hear everything we said! I managed to croak out a "Yes" or a "Of course!", but I really do not remember what I said. We've been married now for over 25 years...
