Welcome to Sparks. Many years ago, it was my intent to post an inspirational thought each Monday. It would be my weekly meditation, and perhaps feed other people's spirit as well. Life got busy, and this fell by the wayside. Now, I feel a strong need to bring this feature back.
The negative energy in the world has become thick and oppressive. Social media has become a part of this dark, negative storm. There is an obvious universal need for more positive energy and peace. And, we can all be part of this affirmative change.
I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world!

That is true, but sometimes it is hard not to stress.
Extra weight ... gray hair ... insomnia ... nothing GOOD is gained from stressing. No. I'm not stressed at all.
That's right.....stressing won't change a thing except make us uncomfortable - we can't control everything anyway!

I try to remember when stressed, if I cannot change the situation I need to let it go....I TRY...LOL

Humans lives are full of stressors; it's just how one reacts to them that makes the difference. I bite my fingernails, overeat, and spend money on silly things...and I'm doing fine...

The adrenalin that stress produces is supposed to be for flight or fight responses for us to survive, not silly things like a work deadline, sheesh! Now if I can convince my brain and body of that, all will be well. MOL!
