That is one of the mysteries of life. With the hood left up it must have broken down and the owner thought it was beyond repair.....or maybe it was an alien abduction!!!

That's a GREAT haiku for this photo. I had to wonder about that too - being left behind isn't fun even for a truck!

Do you think any critters live in that abandoned truck? We bet they do, and we would love the opportunity to check it out. So we missed another special day. Guess we should just be happy our mom posts for us. Good job on being the one and only first commenter this week. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer with a bajillion smooches and all his love from Mau for Allie and purrs and whisker kisses to Noelle from Sawyer.

It sure would be fun to learn the story behind that moss-covered truck. Nice haiku.

We don't have Publix here but TW used to like Acme cos they had "Just 4U" bargains so you could get your fave products for cheap even though they weren't on sale for everyone. Our local one closed in October. Sniffle.

The truck was placed there
Under a floating woman
And she has since left.
