Poetic Thankful Thursday

Today is Poetic Thursday hosted by our pals Teddy and Angel Sammy at Two Spoiled Cats

Today's photo prompt is

The Cabin
Lonely cabin in the woods
Far away from our "hood"
Totally in disrepair
You can't even see the stair.
Someone once loved this place
They left without a trace.
We think it could be cozy
Or are we just nosy?

Today is also Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!

We're THANKFUL that, so far, we are all well and don't know anyone who is ill.  We pray that it stays that way.

We're also THANKFUL that Mom got up early on Tuesday to earn us this pawsome badge!

What a GREAT poem.....it's an old house but depending on how you look at it, it could be a SAD old house or a HAPPY old house that it's survived so long.........and is still welcoming people with a wreath on the door! Thanks for playing poetry with us.

Hugs, Pam and Teddy

If humans aren't living there, then I hope some animals are using it to shelter from the weather!

The last 2 lines are great...as a child my uncle nicknamed me Nosy Rosy
I asked (and still do) a lot of questions.

Mom really liked your poem. She says she is nosy by nature, and would love to know the “real” story of that cabin and any inhabitants that may have lived there. Sawyer is sending Noelle oodles of head bonks and paw hugs. Mau is sending Allie all his love and oodles of smooches. That was such a sweet poem. It has us thinking of who may have lived there during the past. So many memories probably from that cabin. Thanks for sharing this wonderful post.
