Mom is answering for us today.
1. I just finished __Furminating everykitty. I could build a couple more with the fur I removed.
2. I am hoping to start ____using the pool. I say it every year...maybe this one?_________.
3. Feeling good about what you've accomplished_ is my idea of success.
4. When I can’t sleep, I try to clear my mind by repeating "Don't Think" over and over in my head. I heard this technique on the radio. Sometimes it actually works!__.
Today is also Flashback Friday! Angel Tamir loved the floofy white bed!

This is going to sound stupid, but I take a RIDICULOUS amount of sleeping medication ... what works for me is playing word games. For example, my problems sleeping are no match for my meds when I start overthinking or worrying about some reality. So instead, I choose a theme ... cities, foods, names - whatever works for you - and then I go from a to z. I hardly ever get to z. It's counterintuitive - but by thinking of nonsense, I manage to bypass anxiety. As for the Furminator, I don't even know where all that fur comes from! I Furminate both cats every other day - and Ellie especially, yields another cat worth of fur every time!
the mama creates outfits in her mind when she is not able to sleep... but that has a side effect... if she tells her ideas to our dad, then he is the one who is sleepless with thinking about the money she will need ;o)
That is a lovely flashback of Angel Tamir.
Flynn hardly shed at all, but I could furminate a huge pile of fur from Eric, then start all over again and get another pile.
I enjoy combing Sweetie's black fur; her under fur is light grey, and she hasn't had a really good combing since coming inside.
She purrs, and makes biscuits, and I have to de-fur the comb often!
That fluffy bed looks pawsome, and the beautiful Angel Tamir too 😸More Clean Pawkisses. Stay Safe Healthy and Yourselfie🙏🐾😽💞
Those were good answers and I really love that sweet flashback.
I will try #4...I have trouble sleeping often!
Happy Friday
Hugs Cecilia
Love the fill-ins.
Have a purrfect day and weekend. ♥
Yep, that is the Sniffie rose blooming and Tamir's cuphea next to it blooming. It's funny the candy corn cuphea normally just blooms in the fall but that cuphea always puts on at least one bloom when the Sniffie rose is blooming. Mom thinks that another variety of cuphea that looks similar got mixed in with it.
Angel Tamir was very handsome. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. There is a book of crafts to make with cat hair- maybe you could try that :) Have a nice weekend. XO
Beautiful photo! I'll have to try "don't think" next time!
What a great photo of Angel Tamir - he looks very content in that pretty bed......I say whatever works for getting to sleep - it's worth the effort!!
Hugs, Pam
That's a nice floofy bed! Autumn couldn't have that bed cos she's bite all the furz off of it. HAH!
