Monday Sparks

Even though McGuffy's reader is taking a break, we are continuing our Monday Sparks posts!  From the original Sparks posts:
Welcome to Sparks. Many years ago, it was my intent to post an inspirational thought each Monday. It would be my weekly meditation, and perhaps feed other people's spirit as well. Life got busy, and this fell by the wayside. Now, I feel a strong need to bring this feature back.
The negative energy in the world has become thick and oppressive. Social media has become a part of this dark, negative storm. There is an obvious universal need for more positive energy and peace. And, we can all be part of this affirmative change.
I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world!
I hope you will join us. Please link up a positive quote, thought, poem, or verse. The badge and code can be found in my sidebar. Add the badge to your post to invite others. The more, the merrier. I welcome your thoughts. Peace.

Here is our Sparks post for today.  Mom has seen this one before but it's always a good reminder!!

We wake up every day not knowing what will happen. So we eat our breakfast and then go find out.

It is a good reminder, but hard to accept the extreme changes we all have to go through.

That is such a good Spark.

Your Spark is really the crux of the matter here in America; folks holding onto what they THINK they should, instead of what intuitions tell them to.
It's called living in the past, not in the now.

That's a wonderful thought! And something the Human has been working on.

It was funny you turned up in our comments today as we were thinking about you yesterday when the Space X/NASA guys splashed down! We watched the last few hours on the NASA channel and we actually got a little teary-eyed. It's been a long time with no manned(womanned!) missions. I have always been a HUGE supporter of the space program, esp. as it has taken on a more international character. I am happy for my taxes to go to the one thing in go't that is truly optimistic and forward-looking and hopeful for the future. You are lucky to live where you can watch the life-offs ;-)

AND when you do just that, you might just be surprised at how well it all turns out:)

Such a good Spark and lesson for all of us. Mom thinks this is something she is pretty good at doing. Sawyer sends the lovely Noelle whisker kisses and head bonks at our sweet Angel Mau sends his beloved Allie a bajillion smooches and all his love. Mom sends love to all.
