Even though McGuffy's reader is taking a break, we are continuing our Monday Sparks posts! From the original Sparks posts:
Welcome to Sparks. Many years ago, it was my intent to post an inspirational thought each Monday. It would be my weekly meditation, and perhaps feed other people's spirit as well. Life got busy, and this fell by the wayside. Now, I feel a strong need to bring this feature back.
The negative energy in the world has become thick and oppressive. Social media has become a part of this dark, negative storm. There is an obvious universal need for more positive energy and peace. And, we can all be part of this affirmative change.
I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world!
I hope you will join us. Please link up a positive quote, thought, poem, or verse. The badge and code can be found in my sidebar. Add the badge to your post to invite others. The more, the merrier. I welcome your thoughts. Peace.
Here is our Sparks post for today

My positive comment a not meant to be immodest self-praise, but I feel we cats spend so much time nurturing our wayward humans that we must be shining lights.
My two shining lights are slanty and green and smiling on my human. And the fish.
that's well said... and it is a win win thing to take good care for a garden ;O)
Nice Spark. Gardening can be so therapeutic.
Yes indeed...what a wonderful inspiration today

That's a great SPARK. Spending time working in the garden - watching things grow and enjoying them is a very healing experience. Our gardens DO take care of us - gives us a place to forget about everything else and it rewards us for helping it thrive with flowers, herbs, or veggies! Wonderful.
Hugs, Pam
Oh, that's a true one, we like it!
Terrific spark! And it's true!
Now THAT I like, and it is 100% true...right to the end.
That is so true.
We love the nurturing garden meme. We have a great garden in our front yard and it attracts neighborhood kitties who like to sleep on the slate stepping stones in the shade and beautiful butterflies on the flowers.
Purrs & Head Bonks,
Oliver
That is a great spark and so true.
Nice one. How is your garden doing, Mom Sharon? Ground hogs are mowing things down in our yard like crazy. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, angel Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer with all his love and bajillions of smooches to Allie from Mau and head bonks and whisker kisses to Noelle from Sawyer.
