The Adventures of Periwinkle and Stinky

 

Periwinkle stood next to the Teleportation Tunnel eagerly awaiting the arrival of her special guy, Stinky. She was so excited to see him.  It always seemed like forever between their weekly visits.

With a loud WOOSH, Stinky flew out of the tunnel and into Periwinkle's waiting paws.  He looked up at Periwinkle and giggled.  He said "What's that you're wearing on your head?  It looks like a party hat."   Periwinkle laughed and replied that she knew Stinky knew it was her special day.  "I've got a hat for you to wear too," said Periwinkle.  Sheepishly Stinky put on the hat and wondered if he looked silly.  "Oh my, you look so cute in that hat," said Periwinkle.  Stinky blushed.  It was like she could read his mind. 

"I hope you don't mind staying here at my house for my party," said Periwinkle. "We have all kinds of yummy noms and toys to celebrate with"  Of course, Stinky agreed, since any time they spent together was special.

Let's get this party started!!!  We have Real Live Dead Shrimps for an appetizer!  It wouldn't be a party without them.

We also have bacon pops!  

And there is plenty of Roast Beast!

Stinky was amazed at all the good food.  There were even Temptations and Fancy Feast

Periwinkle suggested they take their noms outside so they could enjoy them and catch up on what they've been doing since last week.  First of all, Stinky wanted to know how Periwinkle's sisfur Allie was doing.  Periwinkle said her Mom stopped the appetite stimulator and it seemed to help Allie be less zonked out.  Allie ate and drank a little without it so her Mom thought it would be a good idea.  Perwinkle asked Stinky about his vet visit.  He told her his medicine was upped and he hoped it would keep the seizure monster away.  Mostly they giggled, shared whisker kisses and dug into their party noms and niptinis.

After they had their fill of the delicious party food, the two decided to take a short nap in the scratcher house before Stinky had to leave.  Holding paws, the two tabbies fell asleep and had a nice nap.  They always slept better when they were together.

Soon it was time for Stinky to head home.  They held paws, shared whisker kisses and headbonks and then, he got into the Teleportation Tunnel.  "Happy Birthday Periwinkle, I'm glad we got to spend today together" said Stinky.  Periwinkle responded "Me too, this was fun,"  As the Teleportation Tunnel started the familiar WOOSH....Stinky was sure he heard Periwinkle say "I love you Stinky".  Did he really hear that?
