when: WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 2th

This time we ask you for something colorful.. maybe something you would like for christmess or for hanukka or for thanksgiving … or for new years eve … or a meeting with friends or fumily during da howl-i-days… it’s can be super easy, without much effort…just bringing something colorful to cheer up our mood during that gray time…

…and even when  nothing is like it was this year , maybe with some good food we can make the best of the last month of that haunted 2020…"

Quick, easy and festive for the Holidays!!

Peppermint Cheesecake Bars

Ingredients

1½ cups butter, softened

20 oz cream cheese, softened

1½ cups sweetener - you can either use regular sugar or a sugar substitute

2½ teaspoons peppermint extract, or to taste

 1 candy cane (optional)*

red food coloring (optional)

 Instructions

1. Line an 8x8 pan with waxed or parchment paper, leaving a little extra hanging on both sides. 2. Mix all ingredients together in a food processor until smooth. Feel free to add more peppermint extract for desired taste. 3. Pour cheesecake mixture into lined pan. 4. For red swirls, put 3-5 drops of red food coloring on the top of the cheesecake and swirl using a knife. 5. To decorate, break the candy cane and sprinkle it over the cheesecake. 6. Chill in the fridge for at least 1-2 hours. 7. Use the hanging paper to lift the cheesecake and then peel the paper off. 8. Cut cheesecake into 8 bars.

Easy peasy, right????

  4. Sharon, I think you want to dump The Only Hacker in the World comment. Can’t believe your spam filter didn’t catch that one. I am making this recipe for sure. I just took a screen shot of it. I love peppermint. Tell Noelle to come see us. Sawyer slept between my legs all night and is sleeping on my feet now. He knows how to keep warm. He is sending Noelle a bazillion whisker kisses and an equal number of paw-pats. Hugs, Janet

  9. Oh Yummy!
I can see those being directly applied to Mom's hips (even just thinking about them). I don't think Mom is going to make them this year.
