Today is Poetic Thursday hosted by our pals Teddy and Angel Sammy at Two Spoiled Cats
Today's photo prompt is
Makeup
I have carefully watched Mom
She's precise and calm
My try at makeup wasn't bad
Mom might not be glad.
I borrowed her lipstick.
We're THANKFUL that our pals are all doing well and that so many of their parents have started getting the vaccine. We're also THANKFUL that Mom was one of FIVE firsties on Teddy's Tuesday Teaser!!

Sweet poem.
That's a cute smoochie poem and a terrific thankful too! Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Love that poem. I remember getting into moms makeup back in the day. Moms mostly wore red lipstick back then.
Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday. Scritches to the kitties. ♥
What a fun poem! That little girl can put on lipstick better than I can.
Well done on the poem with the darling photo.
I loved the little girls lip pucker
Hugs Cecilia
I enjoyed that no end. Reminds me of me before the age of 6.
OH! I just remembered. one of Katie's favorite favorite brothers- when he was just barely a toddler, came with me to a friend's home one afternoon. Only the husband happened to be there at the time as I was there to deliver something to him. I sat for a few minutes, and Katie's brother sat on the floor at my feet. After a few minutes I saw that the man's eyes were darting toward my son. I knew the boy wasn't doing anything because I felt him at my feet. Finally, I looked myself! There he was...having fished in my purse, found my lipstick and was applying it to his own sweet little mouth. It was funny and a mess.
That is funny Katie. We loved the poem and are thankful for the Vax our friends are getting too. It was fun to have so many of us as Firsties Wheeee
Cute poem. Congrats on being first commenter. :)
That really is a VERY adorable poem......I'm sure I must have done this lipstick thing when I was a little girl but I don't remember doing it. I do remember putting on Mom's high heels though!
Hugs, Pam
What a great poem! Mom say she remembers the human brother (who now lives with us) using her lipstick! His dad was not impressed. Mom laughed and laughed. She wishes she had a picture of that!
