Respect Your Cat Day Sunday Selfies

We're pawticipating in Respect your Cat Day and  The Cat on My Head's Sunday Selfies today.

We're glad Mom RESPECTS our right to take our selfies on the dining room table.  She seems to think there is a "no cats on the table" rule.   MOL, she's funny, isn't she?

How to Celebrate Respect Your Cat Day

            1. Spend some quality time with your cat Schedule some time with kitty. Go ahead, actually put               it in your calendar. Our lives get so busy, but it's definitely worth taking some time to give your kitty               some TLC. How else are you going to develop a strong bond with your best friend?

2. Get your cat a new cat toy Sometimes showing your love is as easy as refreshing that catnip mouse or getting a new scratching post to replace the old beat-up one. You know she'll love it when you wave that ribbon wand around.
3. Learn new ways to make your cat happy You knew that kitty likes a good scratch behind the ears, but did you know she also likes to play peekaboo with you behind the curtain? Find fun new games or places your kitty likes to be petted today, even if it takes a bit of experimentation. It's all in service of letting your cat know he or she is loved.
We agree with all of those especially if they include treats and toys!!!

Great selfies, Raz and Noelle!

We cats deserve respect EVERY day. But, hey, if we get extra treats and love today, I'm all for it. Happy Respect Your Cat Day! XO - Ava

Those are some fine selfies friends and what a silly rule. We know Dad brings those out now and then and they last a few minutes MOL.
This day is ours and we sure do deserve respect. We give so much to our families and they sure do appreciate it.
Thanks for the respect Dad

Raz that is so funny a no cat zone. Mom needs a refresher course in Cats 101: everything is for cats until cats don't want it. I love your white bib in this photo

The other day Giada de Laurentiis was on Dr Oz and just as the camera went on her, one of her cats crossed the table. I loved it!

Purrs from Angels Pipo & Minko

Way back, MJF had pogo stick legs and he could jump up there, too...but he figured the scoldings he got for that wasn't worth it, LOL!

Dalton hasn't tried, and Benji could, we think, but has not tried, except to try and scrounge things from the tables edge...Oh-Oh!

Considering we cats know everything in our house is OURS, a no cats on the table rule is crazy. How about no humans sitting at the table to eat?????? HAHA Love that first photo with the man and his kitty. SWEET.

Hugs, Teddy

Our humans gave up on keeping us off of counters and tables. The dining room table is covered with cat beds. They did have a rule about no paws on the placemats, but we see you two went even further than paws. These photos are absolutely adorable. Thanks for hopping with us.
