Poetic Thankful Thursday

Today is Poetic Thursday hosted by our pals Teddy and Angel Sammy at Two Spoiled Cats

Today's photo prompt is

The Produce Stand

Home grown potatoes
Juicy ripe tomatoes.
Pottery and green beans
Lots of fresh greens.
Spinach or chard
The decision is hard.
Let's buy them all.
We made quite a haul!

Mom wishes we had produce stands like this by us.  We have a couple of great produce markets but it's not the same.

Today is also Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!

We are THANKFUL that our pals are all doing well and especially that Gracie's Mom got her new hip and is doing well.  We're also thankful that, even though she wasn't a firstie, Mom got us a Greenie at Teddy's Tuesday Teaser.

We have fruit and veggie stands all over the place here, but we don't shop there. This is California and you just never know what people will do to your food. It's crazy, but I remember getting fresh fruit and veggies many years ago in places just like this.

Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday. ♥

What a great poem. Mom was positive she had the correct answer on the Teaser, but, she didn’t, and it was guessed in the evening. That Mom Steph got her new hip is a huge thankful. We are waiting on Dr. Neel with several angry cats. Sawyer sends purrs and whisker kisses to Noelle XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, angel Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Sawyer & Kizmet

Great poem! We do have a farmer's market at a local park, but those roadside stands sure are great. We'd have to go for quite a drive to find one though.

I love it.....and it is SUCH a wonderful way to get fresh food you can TRUST isn't it. Now if they just sold cat food it would be perfect!!!!

Thanks for sharing this wonderful poem with us. It's always wonderful to pick up some fresh produce but we just like you don't have any stands in our area. Have a great rest of your day.
