Friendly Fill-ins and Flashback Friday

We're pawticipating in Friendly Fill-ins sponsored by Four Legged Furballs and 15 and Meowing.

1. Lately, I’ve been _sad because we've lost so many friends this week___.

2. I find _the ability to cope_ fascinating.

3. If I had known __Bill would end up on a ventilator and not able to communicate__, I would have _made sure we talked about "end of life" things years ago___.

4.  I can’t help but _end up with shaky hands___ when I’m nervous.

Today is also Flashback Friday.    Elle and Allie were not only sisters but good pals.  We sure miss those beautiful girls.

It is very sad when we lose more of our friends. That is a sweet flashback of Ellie and Allie.

Wonderful filling in.....end of life things are tough to talk about but important to discuss. David and I "dance around it" from time to time but nothing is set in stone yet. Love the photo of the girls on the sofa....so gorgeous.

Hugs, Pam

Angels Allie and Ellie were beautiful. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers except I am sorry you had to go through that with Bill. I keep telling my hubby we need to talk about those things and have a will , but he keeps pushing it off. XO

Mom and all of us always enjoy seeing the stunning Allie and Ellie. It is tough for our humans to lose their fur children, and then add the loss of friends on top of it, and it is even more difficult. Mom had a terrible day yesterday. Sawyer sends Noelle oodles and oodles of paw hugs and whisker kisses. Great fill-ins. I have been sad about losing friends this week too. And I relate to your #3. My husband thought he was invulnerable and did not want to talk about anything. I send you virtual hugs.

Friends, they come and go the song sez but our furrends just seem to go sadly.
When TW was diagnosed, the first thing she did was make a will which included a wish for doctor-assisted suicide which is legal in NJ.

So sorry to hear you are going through a bit of a tough time. But like you say, the human ability to cope is fascinating and something to always hang on to.

Have a good and blessed weekend.
