Today is Poetic Thursday hosted by our pals Teddy and Angel Sammy at Two Spoiled Cats
Today's photo prompt is
School days
One of the things I learned in school
That turned out to be a useful tool.
It wasn't math of any kind.
That subject was always far behind.
The class that never made me gripe,
Was the one where I learned to type!
Noelle is THANKFUL that she got to participate in Peaches and Paprika's slideshow for National Hairdressers Day!
We are THANKFUL that our pals are all still doing well. We're also THANKFUL that Mom got up early and got not just one but TWO badges on Teddy's Tuesday Teaser. She was a right guesser (but not first) and one of SIX first commenters!!! She won both of these cool badges for us!

we totally agree... math was the thing no one needs LOL
We never had typing lessons at school and when I got my first computer it took me about 15 minutes to write my first email! I started blogging the following year (2006) and used to allow myself 5 minutes per comment. If I did it faster that was a bonus! It is lucky that there were far fewer people blogging then or I would never have been able to keep up.
So true! Had never given it much thought, but you're "right on", that skill has remained to this day and continues to be very important!
I still use math, but I took typing in high school too. It served me very well.
Way to go on the badges.
Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday. Scritches to the kitties. ♥
BOL don't wave that finger at me...every time I read it I get the giggles.
Maybe the look on the pup's face. Very appropriate for today's typing photo.
You lose a finger you don't type.
WEll done on the poem
Hugs cecilia
That was a good poem and such a cute thankful too! Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Wow, Noelle, that certainly is a sexy hairdo. I don’t know what this means but va-va-voom! I am sitting staring at Mom, as it is 17 minutes to treats. We liked your poem. Our mom’s, which she’ll post tomorrow, has a similar theme. Sending you oodles of purrs and paw-pats, Sawyer ❣️
First - Your poem rocks! And that photo of you and your hairdo! WOWZERS! We hope Sawyer loved it as much as me! We send you a marvellously fabulishious day!
That was a really great poem. Dad used typing to rehab his hand after his accident. It was nice to see you and all our friends in the firsties group at School. Great Thankful with wonderful doo's
A GREAT poem!!! I too loved to type back then and have always loved typing.......When I took my civil service test it was not in a room with over 300 people though! HAHAHAHA
Hugs, Pam
Great poem. I wish I had listened to my mom when she told me to take typing.
Great poem. Mom remembers when she was a freshman in high school, she got stuck in a big study hall with a lot of misbehaving students. The typing teacher had a free period and offered to take anyone from the study hall who wanted to learn the basics of typing. Mom did just that and has never regretted losing her study hall time.
Woos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
The mom remembers taking typing class when she was in high school. But she still can’t type well. MOL!
Here's another typist who didn't learn it very well in school...she's probably faster now, than then, LOL! Using a combo of the right way and hunt and peck, LOL, LOL!
