Today is Poetic Thursday hosted by our pals Teddy and Angel Sammy at Two Spoiled Cats
Today's photo prompt is
The Meeting
She stood there at the edge of the sea.
That's where he said he would be.
A life together
No matter the weather
They would take the chance
Hand in hand they would dance.
She brought the old-timey radio.
From that day their love would grow.
We are THANKFUL that things seem to be getting back to normal and that people are able to get out and do more things. We're also thankful that Mom got up early and won us this cool badge at Teddy's Tuesday Teaser!! She was one of FOUR first commenters!!

that is super sweet... and we hope the radio dj will play their song ....
Know what? THAT was my Mom's first thought when it came to doing her poem for this photo - - - then her imagination went wacky and she came up with the poem that she actually wrote. This is a cool photo and lots of interesting poetry has come from it. Yours is wonderful and sweet. Thanks for playing poetry with us every week!
Hugs, Teddy

What a lovely poem, that photo must have been a challenge - good work! We're happy things are getting back to normal too, just not the news that I have to start back in the office this summer - bummer.

That is a really sweet poem and so heartfelt. Love it. We were sure glad to see you at the Teaser up bright and early with us and... wait, are we those "goody two paw" students our parents talked about?
Very sweet poem. Congrats on being first commenter!
Now, that was a really beautiful poem you shared with us. We are also like you thankful that places are opening up more and people are able to do more things now. Thanks for sharing this wonderful post. Have a great day.
