Poetic Thankful Thursday

Today is Poetic Thursday hosted by our pals Teddy and Angel Sammy at Two Spoiled Cats

Today's photo prompt is

The sand

Walking alone in the sand
No idea why this was planned
It looks way too hot
Not even one shady spot.
We think we'll stay right here
Food, litterbox and love are near!

Today is also Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!  We have LOADS of Thankfuls today!

We want to thank everyone who commented on our Blogoversary post.  As you know, Titch from The Adventures of Titch Down Speedy's Rabbit Hole won.  They chose The Asher House as the rescue for their donation.  We make the total $35 and added $1.09 for their processing fee.

We're also proud of our Mom for being a First Commenter on Teddy's Tuesday Teaser.

The BEST THANKFUL of all - Sawyer is HOME!!!   All the purrs and prayers helped get him home.

Posted on Pawboost by Mom Janet and Dad Tom:

Thanks to everyone who shared and especially a neighbor who saw Sawyer posted on a neighborhood forum as found, recognized him from a sign in our yard and called me. I was able to stake out the other neighborhood and bring him home.

That would be far too hot in the desert!
Sawyer being back home is the very best news.

Good poem. Sawyer is working on his thankful Thursday post right now after returning from the vet. Other than losing a lot of weight, he is in good shape. He is thankful he can once again send whisker kisses and paw hugs to his girl Noelle. Our mom is so grateful for Mom Sharon’s support. That is a PURRRRRRFECT poem for that HOT HOT photo! The biggest litterbox in the world and I wouldn't go near it no matter what. I like to do my business in the comfort of my nice cool home! Thanks for being poetry friends with us - it's so much fun isn't it. We are thrilled like everyone in the world is that our buddy and pal Sawyer is home at last - safe and sound after his adventure. WE sure missed him!

Hugs, Teddy
