Today's photo prompt is


The Boy Band

I told Mom I was starting a band.
We'll be famous all over the land.
She thought about it a while
Pretty soon she had a smile.
"I  hope your band is all the rage.
You can take care of Dad and me in our old age"

Today we're THANKFUL that Mom is on a roll again with winning first comment badges at Teddy's Tuesday Teaser.  We're also THANKFUL that she tried out our heat the other day since we haven't had to use it since 2018 and we're supposed to have very cold weather this weekend including a FREEZE warning!

    Love today’s poem. It gave mom a good chuckle. It is hard to believe you haven’t had to use your heat in four years. Try to stay warm. Mom is always happy to be a firstie with Mom Sharon.     Oh my!!! That is the perfect poem for that photo this week. I imagine that would go through my head if my son was one of those little cuties on stage about to make it big. LOL
