Today's photo prompt is
The Lunch Counter
Remember this spot in the old Five And Ten?
A quick lunch for all was available then.
A delicious grilled cheese
Some tomato soup please.
Fun memories of the past
Lunch here was always a blast.
Raz wants to say THANK YOU to all of his friends who wished him a Happy Birthday. He's also THANKFUL for the Ham he got to have plus the big box of Temptations!! Being 10 is GREAT!

it's 8 am here, but I dream about grilled cheese LOL
Sounds like a fun place to go for a snack and a chat.
Terrific poem!
Cute poem! I wonder if they would make a grilled catnip sandwich? ~Ernie

Sweet poem, bravo!
Terrific poem. Do you remember when Stinky & Periwinkle went to the soda fountain we have here? Mom was thinking of that when she tried to write a poem featuring Cooper and Tyebe, but she got stalled in the middle and didn't finish it. We are so happy Raz had a great birthday. Sawyer sends Noelle oodles of paw hugs and all his love. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, angel Mauricio, Misty May, angel Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Sawyer & Kizmet

I remember those kinds of stores, too, with the soda fountain bars within them...though I never did get to enjoy such kinds of fun times...my peeps were strict about where we went and whom we met...
