Caturday Cat Art

First, we want to thank Ann from Zoolatry for this fabulous badge for Raz.

Raz had a few days where he was barfy again.  He seemed a bit better but Mom could tell he lost weight.  Wednesday night she heard him in the guest bathroom scratching like he was in the litter box.  When she went in there she found bloody poops.  Needless to say, a trip to the stabby place happened.  He spent the day there getting blood work, an x-ray, and Cerenia, Convenia, B vitamin, and sub Q fluids.  He also came home with a liquid antibiotic that he will take for 9 days.

Our great vet called early the next morning to tell Mom that his blood was good except for a high white count and slightly elevated red count which was probably because he was dehydrated.  There are a couple of things to watch on his x-ray and if he continues to have problems he will have an ultrasound.

As of today, he is eating and acting normally.  Please keep the purrs and prayers going for him to continue to improve.
