Even though McGuffy's reader is taking a break, we are continuing our Monday Sparks posts! From the original Sparks posts:
Welcome to Sparks. Many years ago, it was my intent to post an inspirational thought each Monday. It would be my weekly meditation, and perhaps feed other people's spirit as well. Life got busy, and this fell by the wayside. Now, I feel a strong need to bring this feature back.
The negative energy in the world has become thick and oppressive. Social media has become a part of this dark, negative storm. There is an obvious universal need for more positive energy and peace. And, we can all be part of this affirmative change.
I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world!
I hope you will join us. Please link up a positive quote, thought, poem, or verse. The badge and code can be found in my sidebar. Add the badge to your post to invite others. The more, the merrier. I welcome your thoughts. Peace.

What a wise spark saying!
Happy New Year!
(Sorry I missed a lot of posts...)
That was a wonderful "spark" and we have to agree. Overall, we really believe the negative, the "evils" of social media, outweigh the good. That's why the biped cancelled her FaceBook account several years ago and does not have a Twitter account, or TikTok or anything else except Google/Blogger. It's also why she limits her news intake now! It's a bit easier in Canada to get unbiased factual reporting, but even here, the media always have a slant. And people are unable to think critically anymore, if they ever could.
So yes, be a Light, let your energy flow for your Highest Good and the Highest Good of All Concerned!
BRAVO for Kea ... we follow the same path ... have our blog, and say NO to everything else, it is all just NOISE.
Possibilities and pawsibilities are there for the taking when we look for the good in life.
Beautiful and it's what I intend on doing too.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Scritches to the kitties. ♥
Yes it is fresh new year...to enjoy!
Hugs Cecilia
I am a total partner with you in how things really are. I still have my media accounts but nothing ugly, or most of all nothing about politics ever crosses over into my blogs, my FB, or whatever. I refuse to watch "news" as they are pleased to call it, on tv. I canceled all newspapers- as they are pleased to call them- subscriptions 12 years ago. I won't even look at them as I pass by in a store. The world seems to be on hold...and I'm not sure what I'll hear when it re-starts.
Yes, life is an adventure, and it's a marathon, not a sprint.
Although we've all felt we've been in a Bruce Willis movie over the last few years...
*wink*
That is a great spark for the new year. XO
Charlee: "Happy New Year, friends!"
Chaplin: "This year, I am going to try to sleep more, spend more time on laps, and see if there are any high-up perches in the house that I haven't found yet!"
That really is a true Spark!
We love your Spark! We are encouraging Mom to do more, but she has to be home in time to feed us! Purrs Marv
May this year be all you dream and more.
That's a great spark. There's always an adventure waiting for us around the next corner....we just have to take advantage of every chance to enjoy something new..........
Hugs, Pam
Mom absolutely loves this Spark, and she is printing it for her vision board that is this month’s Cat Scout craft.
