Friendly Fill-ins and Flashback Friday

.We're pawticipating in Friendly Fill-ins sponsored by Four Legged Furballs and 15 and Meowing.

We are letting Mom answer this week.

1. _Losing Raz___ taught me that _you can't always tell which cats are pals since Reesie seems to miss him as much or more than Noelle____.
2. I wish I could remember __MORE since I forget a LOT_______.
3. I could be convinced _to adopt two kittens_ only if __well....really not much need for convincing.__.
4. I had to delay _adopting anycat right now_ because _we all still need time to grieve__.

Today is also Flashback Friday.   Angel Tamir sure was a cutie.

Those are very beautiful fill ins. We all have to grieve for our pets because it only shows how much they mean to us as they are truly part of the family. But if you decide to adopt I bet that would be fun.

You'll know when it's right to bring new furry family members home; there is no hurry.
We were devasted when Celestial Chuck left us, and yet less than a month later, Da Boyz were here.
Something clicked, both The Hubby and I knew it, and we rolled with it.
Follow your heart.

Adorable photo of Angel Tamir. We know that there are always lots of kitties who need homes and when you are ready the right ones will pick you. We hope Reesie and Noelle are growing closer. Sawyer sends his love, purrs and paw hugs to Noelle. Very nice fill ins Sharon...When Pup passed unexpectedly in May we were worried about Kat since they were really bonded.
Rocky was happy being in the family and evidently knew the bond between Kat and Pup. Lo and behold Kat and Rocky have bonded purrfectly

My heart was shattered when Admiral passed away. Yet 5 weeks later, Katie came to stay.

Angel Tamir was a cutie. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I understand needing to grieve before adopting more kitties. XO

Adorable photo. When I lost Truffles so suddenly my heart was shattered into a trillion pieces. I never thought I would adopt another cat in just a month, but I saw Mudpie and just knew she had to be mine.

TBT: Loved your answers. I have lost dear cats, as most of us have. My thought is that when one door closes, anther opens. Not everyone feels that way. But my response to losing one is to find another to cherish.

I have historically had 2 cats at the same time. When I adopted Marley (seeking a way to bring peace between Ayla and Iza) I ended up with 3.
When Iza went to The Bridge too soon, I searched for another Tonkinese like her

Instead, I ended up with a traumatized 1/2 Siamese, 1/2 grey tabby who was a rescue. So there was 3. THEN I found a Tonkinese breeder and I very much wanted an "Iza-like" kitty.

4th cat. The numbers sneak up on e sometimes... But I sure love them all.

Grieving takes time for sure.....when we lost Angel Sammy we lost a part of our soul as well as our heart but knowing so many animals are in the shelter yearning for a home took us to the shelter. There was our Teddy - another ginger - and our hearts began to beat again. The time will come when you'll be ready again. I forget lots of things but I like to think that the really important stuff stays in my mind at least long enough for me to take care of it! HAHA

Hugs, Pam

When the time is right to adopt again, you'll know it. And as i always say, you aren't replacing the one you loved, you are opening your heart to new love and so making it bigger.

Your Angel Tamir was a most exquisite cat.

Thank you for joining Feline Friday!
