Monday Sparks

Today is the anniversary of Angel Allie's husband, Angel Mau leaving for the Bridge so we have a different type of Spark today.

Even though McGuffy's reader is taking a break, we are continuing our Monday Sparks posts!  From the original Sparks posts:

Welcome to Sparks. Many years ago, it was my intent to post an inspirational thought each Monday. It would be my weekly meditation, and perhaps feed other people's spirit as well. Life got busy, and this fell by the wayside. Now, I feel a strong need to bring this feature back.
The negative energy in the world has become thick and oppressive. Social media has become a part of this dark, negative storm. There is an obvious universal need for more positive energy and peace. And, we can all be part of this affirmative change.
I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world!
I hope you will join us. Please link up a positive quote, thought, poem, or verse. The badge and code can be found in my sidebar. Add the badge to your post to invite others. The more, the merrier. I welcome your thoughts. Peace.

Your Monday Spark hits the heart of all of us pet owners. They are our children to us especially people like me that have no children. Our life is so long and by comparison so short but so loved

Thank you so much for sharing Mau today with the absolutely most purrfect Spark. I think if we thought about that good-bye when we adopted or rescued a pet, that we would probably have second thoughts about doing it. Mau had such a huge purrsonality, which makes him truly unforgettable. I know he and all his friends and precious wife Allie are waiting for and watching over us. Sawyer sends Noelle oodles of whisker kisses and all his love. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, angel Mauricio, Misty May, angel Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Sawyer, Kizmet, Audrey & Raleigh

Our Angels leave us with such sweet memories and sadness at the same time. We still speak of Madi every day. She did so enrich our lives

Perfect spark and so utterly true. I know I have as have many of us here suffered weeks and months, crying for my little ones who left me.

My Mom totally agrees about the hardest part of having a kitty being saying the final farewell. We kitties live our lives way more quickly than humans do and if we could CHANGE that we would so we could be life-time companions. We don't like leaving any more than you like saying farewell. We will always and forever miss Mau and all the other friends we've said goodbye to. Always.

Hugs, Teddy (and Mom)
