Monday Sparks

Mom says this is very true!!

Even though McGuffy's reader is taking a break, we are continuing our Monday Sparks posts!  From the original Sparks posts:

Welcome to Sparks. Many years ago, it was my intent to post an inspirational thought each Monday. It would be my weekly meditation, and perhaps feed other people's spirit as well. Life got busy, and this fell by the wayside. Now, I feel a strong need to bring this feature back.
The negative energy in the world has become thick and oppressive. Social media has become a part of this dark, negative storm. There is an obvious universal need for more positive energy and peace. And, we can all be part of this affirmative change.
I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world!
I hope you will join us. Please link up a positive quote, thought, poem, or verse. The badge and code can be found in my sidebar. Add the badge to your post to invite others. The more, the merrier. I welcome your thoughts. Peace.

It is a "leap of faith" as there is NOT always a soft or good landing ... Maggy once fell as she jumped down from the plant ledges, a favorite place of hers for lounging. She never went up there again ...

It can be daunting to take the leap. I'm not good at it at all.

Always look before you leap, though! Great Spark!

Cats can be experts at leaping, that's for sure!

If I were a cat, I'd certainly land safely. As a clumsy human, no telling. But your meaning goes deeper than that. Tee hee. We certainly need more positivity in the world.

We take leaps of faith around here and cross out paws that we land correctly. One needs to go with their gut feeling.

TBT: I lopved the "leap" graphic but had to laugh. One time, LC was asleep on the edge of the deck and then rolled over. 10' up! I was standing right there at the time. She must have been still asleep as she fell, because she didn't land on her feet!

She went "thud". But she was OK. Came back up on the deck and glared at me as if I was responsible. But mostly, just never slept at the edge again.

There are lots of those faith leaps in our lives...

What good advice! That's a great SPARK. Mom says some of the best things that have ever happened to her happened because she took a leap of faith.

A leap of faith can be an excellent thing, especially if you are stuck.
