Poetic Thankful Thursday

Today is Poetic Thursday hosted by our pals Teddy and Angel Sammy at Two Spoiled Cats

Today's photo prompt is

We hope you like our silly poem...

The Mattress
They have to be kidding if they think this will fit
Even if it does, there'll be no place to sit.
Maybe they should have gotten a bigger car
We hope they don't have to travel very far!

Today is also Angel  Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!

We are very sad that Brian has gone OTB but are THANKFUL that we knew him.  He was one of our first blogging friends and we will miss him.  Fly Free Angel Brian.

Well done on the photo today.
After college our daughter moved into her first condo.
Her shoe collection filled up the entire back of a Taurus
stationwagon

What were they thinking...or rather they were NOT thinking, LOL!!

Brian was such a presence we all feel like we have a big hole in our hearts, I can only imagine how his family is feeling. We are thankful to have had the priviledge of knowing him...and the wonderful memories we all made will sustain us forever.

That's a perfect poem for that photo! We had a mix of poetry for this one - some people thinking it had fallen off the top of the car and some who thought the people were trying to put it in the car, and others who thought the people wanted to PUT it on top of the car. LOL All of the poetry was fun though! We will miss Brian - he was such a good friend to everyone.

Hugs, Teddy and Mom Pam

Your poem is very nicely put!

My eyes are still a little leaky about Brian.
