I can't put down this book
I knew I'd like it from the first look.
The characters are great
The writing is first-rate.
Reading this late isn't right
I'll use my trusty flashlight.
Hopefully, Mom won't find out
She might take it away and then I'd pout.

Excellent job with your poem. Our mom is an excellent pouter. We are happy you have cooler weather and the girls can enjoy the open windows. It was 80 degrees here today. Mom worked in the yard for over three hours. Sawyer sends oodles of paw hugs and love to Noelle. Cooler weather and a good book, those are thankful things. I would have pouted to have my flashlight taken away back when, staying up late to read is a delight.
