ReplyDeleteI am the opposite. The pandemic taught me that I would much rather have everything delivered. They always send items with good dates too. I have no interest in going amongst the crowds any more.

ReplyDeleteMy mom dislikes someone else picking her things. She has done that once after surgery. She said she has observed them and just picked anything in the appropriate places..not going over it for dates, etc. She knows she may be expecting too much so she just goes herself even though it's a pain sometimes.
We can order staples from the store, but fresh things, they choose the stuff that's about to go out of date to get rid of it. I can't say I blame them, but I can't eat that much, that fast before it goes bad.
