Today is Poetic Thursday hosted by our pals Teddy and Angel Sammy at Two Spoiled Cats
Today's photo prompt is
Trick or Treat
We each put on a sheet
We went looking for a treat
We rang the doorbell
We waited for a spell.
Is that a cat?
We smell a rat.
Maybe it's just a mask.
We're askeered to ask!
We're also THANKFUL that (in spite of NOT being a firstie) Mom was a right guesser (also NOT first) and won this pawsome Halloween badge for us.
we hope they got many treats... a happy howloween to you

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love the poem…Mom laughed out loud. Concats on being a right guesser. Surprised not to see the girls in costume for Meowloween. ReplyDeleteFun poem! It does look like a trap, doesn't it.
ReplyDeleteYour mama is very considerate if she stays outdoors to hand out candy.
Java Bean: "Happy Halloween! We had a successful one here, people read the sign and took candy from the box without ringing the bell! I still barked at them though because I knew they were there."
ReplyDeleteI really like your poem and hope you've had a happy Halloween and a great beginning of November.
