We don't like going to the vet, but once we are there, we love it. We got lots of attention and treats. Hope your visit went well.

A trip to the vet. At least you're together. We took ours at the same time too. It worked out very well.

Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday and rest of the week. Scritches to the kitties. ♥

Probably good advice in general. But our Vet doesn't. He thinks the most calming grip is the Bein's during front room exams and shots.. Helped by staff. But the back rooms are strictly staff.

I'm not sure exactly why. It might be hygiene, it might be a danger of accidental medicine contact, it might be an insurance issue, it might be concern that the Bein will freak out a bit.

50 years ago, I used to hunt. And mammals need to be "field-dressing" immediately. There isn't much about the insides of animals I haven't seen or handled.

But each vet has their rules and I follow them.

Oona: "Oona would like to see them try to handle her. Just let them try it."
Charlee: "Really? I have heard that all the vets and the vet techs just love it when you come to visit them. They say you are so cute and well-behaved—"
Oona: "LIES!!!"
