Friendly Fill-ins and Flashback Friday

Happy Independence Day.  We hope there are no scary boomies tonight!

We're pawticipating in Friendly Fill-ins sponsored by Four Legged Furballs and 15 and Meowing.
We took turns,  Noelle, all of us, and then Mom for the last two.

1. My plans for July 4th include __hiding in the close with the huggy kitty Sawyer gave me___________________.
2. I _HATE_____fireworks.
3. I’m grateful that I have the freedom to _have as many kitties as I want (we're starting to think it's time for  a little brofur)___.
4. I wish I could do a factory reset on _nothing since it would change EVERYTHING.__.

Today is also Flashback Friday hosted by  Fivesibes

All of our Angels knew how to celebrate the 4th.

Charlee: "Happy Independence Day to all of you!"
Java Bean: "Ayyy, the fireworks were loud this year! They don't scare me, but even I noticed them. I thought they might need barking at, but Mama told me they didn't."
Lulu: "I slept through them! The Sileo and the Mutt Muffs on my ears helped."
Chaplin: "Being a dog is so complicated."

Love those long-haired cats playing with little flags!

I've never even tried to explain fireworks to the cats. About half a mile downhill is a place that hosts a fireworks show in July and usually on New Year's Eve. From here it sounds very similar to someone shooting at deer in the woods. The cats know to stay out of the woods.

I'm hoping for no noisy and scary boomies tonight too but the weather is perfect so I'm afraid we will hear lots of NOISY NOISE this evening! So you girls are thinking you want a little brother - that would be EVER SO MUCH FUN!

We have hot humid weather, but for some reason the fireworks we often hear close by isn't too bad this year...but of course there is still tomorrow and Sunday...the big display is at the airport and we can hear it, though muffled, with all the windows closed here...that place is LOUD if you are there, we are 8 miles north of it. They do second show either Sat or Sunday. What a drag for all the peeps who live near to there, not to mention. the furry ones. Even the humane society where Benji came from is close to there,.

Happy Independence Day!

Loved the flashback photos. Kizmet was the only one here who got upset by the fireworks. Everybody else stayed in the living room where the noise was buffered from all sides. Sawyer is glad Noelle felt safe in the closet with her huggie kitty. He sends all his love and paw hugs. Love all your patriotic flashback pics! So sweet. Thanks for joining in our #FlashbackFriday blog hop! I hope you had a lovely, safe, and quiet Fourth. (The closet sounds like a good place to hide from all those boomers.)
