A golden path, soft sands below,
A stairway of light where angels go.
The waves whisper secrets, the sky turns gold,
As he walks toward the light, he is so bold.
Up the stairway, through the mist,
Where love and peace forever exist.
Toward the rainbow, bright and wide,
A bridge to where the spirits glide.
On this path, so calm and clear,
He finds his way, with no more fear.

What a lovely poem...almost had me in tears, as we had just laid a dear man to rest from our church congregation...
What a beautiful poem for the photo this week. While I'm in no hurry to enter those gates, I don't fear the day that I do. I will just be glad to be "home"............. Thanks for being part of Angel Sammy's Poetry day!
