Today is Poetic Thursday hosted by our pals Teddy and Angel Sammy at Two Spoiled Cats
Today's photo prompt is
The scissor mishap
I grabbed the scissors and snipped with glee,
Now uneven bangs I see.
The mirror shows my big frown
Tears begin to tumble down.
Mommy sighs and holds me tight,
"We will fix this and make it right."

Cute poem! Somehow my sister and I never did that....nor my brother! Cute poem!
I did once win a prize at a fun fair when I was about 8 or 9, for having the shortest hair for a girl...my dad (!) had cut our hair that week....
Moms make things better - even first adventures as hairdressers that go awry! Cute poem.......!!
Hugs, Pam and Teddy
Oh goodness me! I did what when I was younger too! Parents were not happy!
That is a sweet poem.
The first thing I thought of, is how did this little girl's parents keep from laughing out loud while their little one sobbed?
That was one honkin' big chunk of hair she'd whacked.
Maybe it's good that I've never parented humans.
I like your poem.
Oh precious pic and poem ~ lovely ~ hugs,
