Poetic Thankful Thursday

Today is Poetic Thursday hosted by our pals Teddy and Angel Sammy at Two Spoiled Cats

Today's photo prompt is

The plane ride

Soft snores in the front,
A gentle, quiet hum.
But behind a large man,
His knees are quite numb.
He shifts, and he groans,
A restless, big soul.
The sleeper dreams on,
Completely in control.

Today is also Angel Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!

We're THANKFUL for the rain we've gotten (even though we're still in a drought) and, of course, for YOU!

That was such a fun poem, I don't like flying any more. Excellent thankful too when it's been so darn dry. Thanks for joining Angel Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!

It seems we are either in a drought like you and us, or people are being flooded out. Mom wonders if all the satellites we have put up in the air have anything to do with the changing weather patterns. Of course, climate change has much to do with it. We totally enjoyed your poem. Angel Sawyer sends lovely Noelle his forever love. I’d not thought of that part, the little guy is in control, even though asleep, isn’t he. Fun poem!
