As you might know if you follow us and Mom on Facebook, Mom walks with her friend at one of the local parks. It's a beautiful park with trails and a pond and fountains and loads of turtles and birds.
There is also a colony of feral cats there. What we're thankful for today is that these feral
kitties has a dedicated group of humans who make sure they are taken care of.
Here's a couple of photos that Mom took during her walk a couple of weeks ago.
This is Blue Eyes.....
And this is Momma.....
They hang out "together" but separate on either side of the walking path.
We're very thankful that they are cared for. We sure wish all kitties who didn't have homes were looked after so lovingly.

Thankful Thursday
Remember a few weeks ago when Mom posted photos of the sweet kitties that were rescued from the park she walks at? If not, click HERE.
Well, Mom saw this on Facebook and the lady who took the photo said we could post it here to update you all....
Momma Jennifer and Tinkerbell together at "home".
Wouldn't it be cool if these two got adopted together?????
There are lots more special kitties needing homes. You can read more about the rescues at the park by visiting their Facebook page Operation_GPK
We're also thankful when we meet new friends. Recently a Kit Scout named Felix joined Cat Scouts. Felix is one of the Worldwide Wildcats and is a member of Raz's Patrol. He has a blog and hasn't had a lot of visitors yet. Please stop by and visit Felix....he's adorable. The Journey of Felix Cat

Thankful Thursday
Today we're thankful for a lot of things. First, we're thankful for our wonderful forever home. We had good noms, lots of love, good care and a whole Blogosphere of pawsome pals.
Second, we're thankful for the people who do rescue work. As you probably know, Mom walks in a park near our house. There are some feral kitties there and the city the park is in has not been supportive of TNR. Their idea was not to feed the kitties and they would go away. As we all know, that's not going to happen and TNR does work!!!
Third, we're happy because a kitty Mom and her baby were trapped last week. This is the Mom kitty Jennifer...
and her kitten Tinkerbelle.
Both Jennifer and Tinkerbelle have now been spayed, gotten their shots and tests and hopefully will be on their way to pawsome forever homes. Here's what the Operation GPK says about the kitties they rescue:

Operation GPK is a joint venture between the Last Chance Sanctuary and Friends for Animals Sanctuary. There are actually members of three different groups that make up our little team of five Jennifer, Tinkerbelle's mom, was number 42. There are still a few to catch, though, so our work's not quite done
