Wordy Wednesday

Please keep our sweet ManCat Raz in your purrs and prayers.  He started losing weight a few weeks ago and Mom had blood work done and everything was purrfect.  Our vet suggested multiple small meals throughout the day, which Mom did.  Unfortunately, that didn't help and he continued to go downhill.  Mom took him back in on Monday and he had fluids, B-12, and got more cerenia and Mirataz.   She and the vet spoke and agreed that, at this point, we are going to love on him and keep him as comfortable as possible for the time he has left.  Sadly, we know it isn't much.

Sunday Selfies

We're pawticipating in The Cat on My Head's Sunday Selfies today.

I took my Selfie the other day with the special treats Santa brought me.  Mom wanted me to let you know that the appetite stimulant is helping me eat more.  I know I look pretty skinny in my Selfie but I am doing my best to eat more.

Sunday Selfies with Raz

We're pawticipating in The Cat on My Head's Sunday Selfies today.

Hi furriends.  Raz here.  If you are on Facebook, you know that 2:30 in t he morning on Wednesday January 30 I had a seizure.  It was quick and I was okay afterwards so Mom waited to take me to our regular VET.  We really like it there and Cheryl who works there is super pawsome and loving to us.

I got packed up in the PTU and headed out.  Fortunately, they are only a few blocks from our house.  Dr Kaseta checked me over and I seem to be healthy and all my vitals were good so we decided to wait to see if anything happened again.

On Friday night I horked a few times and it was yellow bile kind of stuff.  I also refused to eat my stinky goodness.  Yesterday morning I horked again and even refused treats so Mom packed me up and took me back.

While I was in the car, I took my selfie.  Not easy with that screen in front of me.

I was a good boy again and let them steal my bloods and give me a shot of Cerenia for upset tummy.  We are hoping that this is not related and Mom is just being overly cautious.  I didn't have a temperature but I did lose half a pound since my last visit.  I was not dehydrated and my gums were a nice, healthy color.

Please send some purrs and prayers for me. We should have blood results either tomorrow or Monday. Mom is a basket case and I really want to feel better.

Thanks!
Raz
