Poetic Thankful Thursday

Today is Poetic Thursday hosted by our pal Angel Sammy at One Spoiled Cat.

Today's letter is "A" and is dedicated to all our Angels and especially Angel Sammy!

Angels

Angels among us, on soft wings they fly

They watch over us from clouds on high.

They visit us often

Our grief to soften.

We miss them so much

Their purrs and their touch.

One more time, their sweet head to stroke

They left us too soon and our hearts broke.

At the Bridge they are young and healthy again

But for their earthly presence we yen.

We love you sweet angels and love when you visit

Your spirit is here and it's very vivid.

Visit us often, please dear sweet ones

We miss you a lot and love you tons.

Happy Birthday at the Bridge

Today would have been Angel Sniffie's 15th Birthday. We miss her so much! Mom says there must be a huge party at the Bridge today for Angel Sniffie and her sister Angel Cory who went to the Bridge in 2002.

We're not sure you've ever seen Cory so we wanted to show you how purrty she was.

See all those ribbons?  Angels Cory and Tamir won them at Cat Shows!

Angel Cory knew how to work the camera!! 

Helping out with the laundry was one of Angel Cory's specialties!

And, of course, Angel Sniffie had her own style!!!

Sniffie was born Nirmanakaya's Viandra and Cory was Nirmanakaya's Ventana Mi Corazon. Their  Daddy was Nirkmankaya's Visquey Innajar and Mom was Nirmanakaya's Sidhe Reginne.

These two graphics were made by Zoolatry. They were too good not to use again!

As you all know, Angel Sniffie LOVED chips and ham! Here's a video of Angel Sniffie enjoying her Birthday snack.  We know we share it every year, but it makes Mom smile. 



                          

Happy Birthday Angels Sniffie and Cory. There is not a day that goes by that we don't miss you. When you left, you took a big part of our hearts with you.

Woofie Wednesday - a flashback..

We know it's not Flashback Friday but we wanted to share this post we did two years ago with Cubby and Angel Clifford.  Angel Clifford looked so cute in the last picture.  We saw that two of our pals from then are angels now too.  We hope they're all smiling together as they look at this post.

ManDOG Monday - the humiliation

Mom was getting ready for Valentines Day and got the bright idea to decorate US!

MOM!  This is humiliating.....how does that ManCat Tamir put up with this????

Cubby says "I'm OUT of here"  Notice how he's a blur....

Can somecat or woofie help me?  Please?  Khyra?  Sugar? Diamond?  Grete? Sadie????  HELP!!

A weekend of Remembering

Our friends ~ Three Tabby Cats in Vienna ~ Kashim, Othello and Salome ~ are hosting a Weekend of Remembrance. Some years ago the entire Cat Blogosphere came together and remembered our many friends, loved and lost and it is time for this once again...

We're especially sad this weekend because our wonderful friend Sweet Praline had to go to the Bridge on Monday. This candle is for her today.

Sweet Praline is also the representative for a new remembrance weekend sponsored by the Floof and Fur blog...

Today is also the first Rembrance of Fur Angels day. So many wonderful pals have gone to the Bridge in the past year, including our own sisfur Sniffie. We miss her so much and will never forget her. Sniffie had such a wonderful purrsonality and she took a piece of our hearts with her when she left for the Bridge.

Today we also want to remember some of our other Bridge Angels.
