Foster Friday

We're interrupting Flat Tamir's travel journal today to do a Foster Friday post.

Even though Lexi has gone home with her Daddy, we have a few pictures that we would still like to share with you.

This one was taken on the day Lexi went home.  Our Daddy doesn't have the heart to brush the red furs off the laptop cover now.

A Happy Reunion

Hi Furriends, Lexi here.

All day Saturday I had the feeling something was going on.  The Furkids Mom packed up my foods, cleaned my box and put a different one out and then put my favorite toys all together.  I didn't know what was happening.....

then I heard a voice I recognized and came out to check....

OH MY COD.....is it really you?  Let me sniff you hand to make sure this isn't a dream....

It's true!  Nobuddy knows how to give me scritiches like MY DADDY!!!

I'm so happy to see you and I can see you're happy to see me too!!!

I love you Daddy!!!! 

The Florida Furkids and there Mom and Dad have been super nice to me but now I'm going home to be with my Daddy!!  I'll miss the Furkids family and I know they will miss me too.  I hope that other people sign up for Operation Noble Foster so other kitties like me can have wonderful reunions with their Moms and Dads.

We were so pleased to see how happy Lexi was to see her Daddy and how happy he was to see her.  We will miss her a LOT but seeing how much they love each other made it a bit easier.  If you can, please consider fostering a pet for someone in the military.  It's a small thing to do and it can make such a big difference for someone serving our country.  We hope to keep in touch with Lexi and will post when we have pictures of her after she gets home.
