3rd Annual World Cat Day!!!

Let us all celebrate ~ World Cat Day!

Celebrate kitties in your own special way.
Those here and near, and those now above,
all the kitties so dear, all the kitties we love.

First we want to remember our sweet sister Sniffie.  Mom looked at our last year's post for World Cat Day and it was the same week she found the lump on Sniffie's back.   We miss our wonderful little girl and we hope you don't mind that we continue to keep her on our blog on Fridays.

We are re-cycling some of last year's World Cat Day post because we really wanted to honor those who came before again.
We don't want this to be a sad post - it's a celebration of some of the furry cool kitties Mom has known!

Cory was Sniffie's littermate...

Uriel - our first Birman. Uriel was a red point and was a sweetie! Uriel would give a Paws Up to World Cat Day!!

Tabriz - Mom's Flame Point Himalayan watching over little Baschert.

Mom's first Himalayan - Khartoum. Khartoum was Tabriz's daddy. Mom says she was WAY TOO tan in this picture and had on some VERY intense eyeshadow! We say she was WAY younger too!!

We hope you didn't mind seeing those who came before again.  Mom promised each one of them (and us too) that they would always be with her. Each one of these special kitties has a purrty urn and they are all part of our home. Many thanks to Ann of Zoolatry for the wonderful graphic for World Cat Day.

UPDATE ON ELLIE:

Please continue your purrs and prayers.  She is still "punky" and doesn't have much appetite. She ate a little bit for Daddy 2 times yesterday and a smidge for Mom last night. She did jump in the window to watch Bird-Tv today, but she's really not herself.

World Cat Day 2010 and Purrs and Prayer Request

*** Mom found a bump on the back of Sniffie's neck and is worried. She's got a call in to the V-E-T and hopes to get Sniffie checked out on Monday. Please send purrs and prayers that it isn't anything bad. Thanks! ***
