Angel Clifford is back home

Hi furriends, Cubby here.

Yesterday Mom told me she was bringing Clifford back home.  She went out and came back and I don't understand.  She said Clifford's spirit was running free at the Bridge and this little box has his ashes in it.

It's a pretty carved wooden box and came with a certificate.

Close up of the box...
and the certificate.

We also got a wonderful poem from our VET about Clifford being in Heaven and a copy of the Rainbow Bridge poem came with Clifford's ashes.

Mom wants to thank Cheryl from our VET's office.  She was wonderful the day Cliffie left us.  She met Mom at the office on a Sunday night so Clifford's body didn't have to stay here until they opened on Monday.  We love Cheryl!!!

Wordless Wednesday with Raz and another friend has gone OTB

We're very sad that our friend Abby from Manx Mnews has gone to the Bridge.  Please take a moment to stop by and visit Abby’s family at Manx Mnews and share your condolences for her passing.  Abby and her Mom were so very close and we know her Mom is devastated.

This beautiful graphic was made by Mom Debra for her sweet girl.  You can feel the love she had for Abby.

Many thanks to Ann from Zoolatry for this beautiful graphic.

We're in shock today.  Our woofie Clifford went to the Rainbow Bridge last night.  He had a tummy upset for a couple of days and Mom was giving him pumpkin which seemed to be helping.  He was drinking plenty of water and was perky.

Mom was out all day yesterday and when she came home Clifford seemed okay.  A few minutes later she went in the room and Clifford started to barf....and it was all blood.  There was a LOT of blood and he died in her arms almost immediately.  She was in shock.  At least she was there and was holding him when he passed.

Mom was supposed to meet up with Paula and Mo today but had made other plans right before she found out that Paula was going to be here today.  She's grateful that she did because she wouldn't have been here with Cliffie when he left for the Bridge.

Please keep Mom and Dad and Cubby in your purrs and prayers.  Cubby and Clifford have never been separated.

The photo above was taken the week Cubby and Clifford came to live with us.  They were 5 years old and Mom and Dad adopted them.
