Wordy Wednesday

We really miss our Daddy and wanted to do something very special for him........do you think he'll appreciate this? Mom found it when scooping our litter. Just so you know, this is authentic....Mom was amazed!

Please keep our Daddy in your purrs and prayers. He will be moving (maybe today) to a long term hospital that specializes in ventilator/trach weaning and also does physical rehab.

Sunday Selfies

We're pawticipating in The Cat on My Head's Sunday Selfies today.

Today we're featuring our Dad. He finished his radiation treatments on Friday and got this pawsome certificate. The certificate did it's own selfie!

After it took it's selfie, it took one with Dad!!!

ConCatulations Dad, we're so proud of you and so happy that you are all finished with your treatments!! We love you!

Not so Wordless Wednesday

A friend of Mom's sent her the link to this Bald Eagle Cam. Here's what it says:

Pittsburgh Hays Bald Eagle Nest

A pair of Bald Eagles are now nesting within 5 miles of downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania along the Monongahela River near where the famed Carnegie Steel Homestead site once existed. Industrialization beginning in the 19th century led to extensive unregulated pollution of the rivers, which decimated fish populations that eagles feed on. For example, during a survey on Monongahela River in 1967, one scientist could find only one bluegill. As efforts to clean the waterways took effect over the past 30 years, 76 species of fish have been found in the Monongahela. Experts say it has probably been more than 250 years since Bald Eagles last nested along Pittsburgh’s three rivers. As recently as the mid-1980s, there were just a few remaining nesting Bald Eagles pairs anywhere in Pennsylvania. This year marks 30 years since the reintroduction of Bald Eagles in Pennsylvania. With the help of the Canadian government, several agencies brought bald eagle chicks back to their states to reintroduce Bald Eagles. Today, Pennsylvania boasts more than 250 nests.

Fabulous Monday

We only have one thing to say on this wonderful Monday.....

WELCOME HOME DAD!

Thank you all for your purrs and prayers. Dad came home from the hospital yesterday. He still has a recovery process to go through but we're soooo glad he's back home with us again!!

Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone. Dad's surgery went well yesterday. His doctor said they were good with only one bypass and they stayed "off pump" which makes it easier on Dad. He has some pain but the nurse says he's doing very well. They hope to get him up and in a chair around 5:30 this morning and into a regular room this afternoon. Thank you soooo much for all of the purrs, wags and prayers. We love you all!!

Purrs and Prayers request

Our Daddy is having a heart catheterization today for a possible blockage. Please keep him in your purrs and prayers. We love him so much and want him home and healthy.
