Mom Sharon here. I went to visit Cousin Trooper to give him a mani/pedi last week. He is doing good in his new home. One thing that he did do was over groom himself when his new Grandma was away for 3 weeks. He stayed at his human brother's house and must have gotten scared. His furs are growing back now and he seems very happy in his new home. I have some other photos I will share in another post.

It's always great to see Cousin Trooper! He must have thought his Grandma wasn't coming back or something, which is probably why he overgroomed. I'm glad he's happy in his new home otherwise!

Oh, Cousin Trooper is looking handsome! We're sure that the fear of losing his forever home again made him overgroom, but we're sure he'll be better now that he realizes he is safe and home again. Thanks for sharing your visits with him. They're really heartwarming.

Overgrooming happens to humans, too, when they think nobody's payin' enuff attenshun to them. They put on make-up and spray their head furs and make themselves all smelly.
