YIPPEE by The Florida Furkids
Yippie a word that starts with "Y"
How come we picked it? You wonder WHY?
Yippee because we love our Dad
Yippee because Florida isn't bad.
Yippee because 17 years ago today
Mom came to Florida to STAY!
They packed her house and furkids too
and down 95 South they flew!
Tamir, Sniffie, Cory, Baschert and Katie
The truck and van were quite weighty.
Dad drove the U-Haul and pulled the Miata
In the van with Mom, the cats sang a cantata!
Yippee do - Yippie and Yay
We're all thankful for that Day!

It's a Floridaversary!
What a wonderful poem with good memories. You put a smile back our our faces. We are super excited about tomorrow. We know Easy will be looking over Sammy as he travels and keeping him safe. It is indeed a sad time, and our emotional Mom can't seem to stop blubbering. Mau hopes Allie doesn't mind, but Fiona is wrapped up in the green fleecy blanket she gave him lying next to mom.
