Happy Birthday at the Bridge

Today would have been Angel Raz's 14th birthday.  We miss him so much.  He was a good friend and a pawsome brofur.

Caturday Cat Art

Our artwork today is something we did in memory of our friend and fellow blogger Paula Gregg of Sweet Purrfections.  Mom was lucky enough to have met her a few times when she came to Florida and they talked on the phone quite a few times too.  She had a beautiful smile and was a truly beautiful person.  Gone way too soon and will be missed by many.  We know there have been some lovely tribute photos but we chose this one because we liked what it said.

You can read her obituary HERE.

ManCat Monday

ManCats appreciate pretty things and thoughtful friends.  Our pals at Chewy sent us these beautiful flowers when they heard that Ellie went to the Bridge.

We love Chewy!  Thank you so much for the beautiful flowers and for the kind note. We appreciate your thoughtfulness!

Goodbye to a Sweet Friend and Poetic Thursday "Y"

First we want to send soft, healing purrs and prayers to the family of our pal Easy.   Easy went over the Bridge yesterday and we are so very sad.  Easy was a great friend and we will miss him a lot.   Click HERE to visit his blog.

Today is Poetic Thursday hosted by our pal Sammy at One Spoiled Cat.

Today's letter is "Y"

YIPPEE by The Florida Furkids

Yippie a word that starts with "Y"
How come we picked it?  You wonder WHY?
Yippee because we love our Dad
Yippee because Florida isn't bad.
Yippee because 17 years ago today
Mom came to Florida to STAY!
They packed her house and furkids too
and down 95 South they flew!
Tamir, Sniffie, Cory, Baschert and Katie
The truck and van were quite weighty.
Dad drove the U-Haul and pulled the Miata
In the van with Mom, the cats sang a cantata!
Yippee do - Yippie and Yay
We're all thankful for that Day!

Today is also Thankful Thursday sponsored by our pal Brian.  We're thankful that Mom met Dad and that she and those who came before us made the trip here so we could live in here together!

Don't forget the big event for our pal Sammy tomorrow -

Missing Angel Tamir - Two years later

Today marks the two year anniversary of Angel Tamir's trip to the Bridge.  We can't believe the Big Guy has been gone for so long.  We really miss him a lot.

Mom made this slideshow last year to celebrate Tamir's life.  We know it's long, but we hope you enjoy it. Mom had such a hard time finding the right photos to use and it was so hard to cut some.   There's even a little video of his loud and rumbly purr!!  We know we have some new friends since Angel Tamir left us and we hope you enjoy meeting him....he was a special ManCat.

Sweet Tamir, we love you and miss you a LOT.  Please give smoochies to Angels Sniffie and Clifford and, if you can, give Auntie El a hug for us too.

Love,
Mom and Dad, Ellie, Allie, Raz and Cubby

Sad Sunday

Our pal Gracie's niece Olive has gone to the Bridge.  We're very sad about this.  Olive went to Australia with Gracie when Angel Tamir left for the Bridge.  We really feel like Olive is one of our family.  Maybe it's because she left on Auntie El's 2 month anniversary or maybe it's because she left so fast, just like Tamir but Mom is super duper weepy today.  If you can, please stop by Gracie's blog and leave a comforting comment.
