Day 5 in Sedona was Memorial Day and Mom and Dad's Anniversary! The Cozy Cactus was decorated with flags for Memorial Day.
Mom and Dad drove around and did some sightseeing.....

We all had dinner at The Hudson....

They actually had the same dessert they had last year.....Ellie's Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie!!!
When they got back to the Cozy Cactus, they joined some of the other guests sitting around the fire. Good times!!! Mom and Dad say that they have met the nicest people at the Cozy Cactus.

Thank you for these great answers. I plan to do all the challenges, I try to be ind all the time, but I could be nicer to my hubby. It is hard to not get upset about things we can't control, I say the serenity prayer when I am overwhelmed. Great photos of your trip, it is nice to see a couple so happy. Have a great weekend! XO

Mom can surely identify with #3 fill in. She is a work in progress trying to learn to let go of what she cannot control....daily struggle but she is better.

Our mommy does the same thing for #3. She's trying to learn to let it go but she's a slow learner! We're glad your peeps had a wonderful anniversary in Sedona!
Mom says she had a lot of great albums that she too wishes she had kept. Seems like LPs are becoming popular again. Our Grandma, Mom's Mom, went to several faith healings with Fr. Dorio many years ago through the Cursillo movement. She said it was quite inspiring to see the healings that took place.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie?!?!?!? Yuuuum. I've been looking all over for a recipe that I bet is similar. I think the restaurant calls it a peanut butter bistro ... its crust tastes like crushed oreos - with a rich peanut butter mousse (I can't decide if it's cream cheese or heavy cream), covered in chocolate ganache. Probably the best thing I tasted, ever!! Looks like your humans had a lot of fun in Sedona.
