Celebrate
The holidays are here
Christmas is done and New Years is Near
Lots of folks will Celebrate
With special foods on their plate.
Superstitions abound
Resolutions come around.
For us it's disconcerting
Because our hearts are hurting.
One thing we have to celebrate
Little Noelle's timing was great.
Daddy sent her to us
She's a huge plus.

What a GREAT poem! Really - while you had serious heartache you still had happiness by the end of this year with the "gift" from Mr. Bill of a new kitty. OMC...Noelle is a purring machine! Sawyer only chirrups and growls. Haven't heard a meow or a purr out of him! I know he's not nearly as socialized as Noelle. Your poem is cause for celebration.
