The Adventures of Periwinkle and Stinky

Periwinkle was so excited that Stinky was on his way.  She missed him so much since their last adventure.  She patiently sat by the teleporter and couldn't wait to tell Stinky what she had planned for them today.  Periwinkle hoped that Stinky remembered to bring his coat with him so they could keep warm.

WOOOOSHHHH,,,,,,, there he was.  Periwinkle's heart skipped a beat...he was such a handsome tabby!  She was the luckiest girlcat in the world!!  She ran over to greet him!!  "Hi Stinky!  I am so happy to see you.  Did you remember to bring your coat?  Hugging Periwinkle Stinky said "I did but it's not cold in Florida so why do I need a coat?"   "You'll see" she said with a smile.

Holding paws, the two jumped back into the teleporter.  Stinky was curious about where they were going.  As soon as they stepped out, he knew!!

"Periwinkle, this is a great idea.  A tree farm!"

"I thought you would like it.  The owners heard about our adventures and invited us to come and help out with the trees.  They even promised us a nice lunch afterward!"

"Lunch?  Count me in!!"  Periwinkle smiled.  She sure liked him a LOT.

Periwinkle explained that first, they had to ride to the field where the trees were.  She arranged for a sleigh ride out to the trees.

"Gee Periwinkle,  this is fun.  I am really glad I brought my coat though"  It was only a short ride out to where the trees are but they enjoyed the crisp air and holding paws as they rode.  Periwinkle and Stinky both cuddled up next to each other to keep warm.   Soon they were in the field with the trees.

Periwinkle said "How peaceful it is out here.  I could stay here forever....as long as you were with me!"  Stinky blushed.  "Me too, Periwinkle"  Of course the tabbies knew they wouldn't do that since their families and fursibs would miss them.  Stinky had to be home to get his medicine too.

"Okay Stinky, we're here to help out so let's get started selling some trees!"

Periwinkle and Stinky spent the rest of the afternoon at the tree booth.  Lots of families came to purchase trees and it warmed their little tabby hearts to see so much love and happiness.  Nothing matched the sparkle in the eyes of children helping to pick out the tree.  Of course, they all knew that Santa was coming soon and everyone was on their best behavior.   After a bit, Periwinkle and Stinky left the booth to have a picnic lunch that the owners of the tree farm set out for them.

Periwinkle and Stinky sat on the blanket and ate their lunch.  The Fancy Feast tasted so much better here.  Or, was it because they were together???

After a bit, the two picked up everything and headed back to the farm.  It was time for them to teleport home.  They hopped back on the sleigh and sat close to each other and held paws.

Periwinkle and Stinky said goodbye to everyone on the farm and teleported back to Periwinkle's house.  The two hugged each other and shared paw pats, headbonks and whisker kisses and it was time for Stinky to go home.  Periwinkle said "Safe travels, Stinky"  and WHOOSH he was gone.  She was sad to see him go.  They had so much fun on their adventures.  She couldn't wait till next week!!

Oh what fun! A perfect outing for this time of the year and they were such a BIG help to the tree farm to work in the booth for the day. Can't wait to see what this pair of cuties will be up to NEXT week.

Hey, Periwinkle. That sure was another fun trip, especially the picnic lunch. It was pretty cold though. I am happy you told me to bring my coat, plus it was a good excuse to cuddle. Christmas time is so festive. It's fun to think about all the families that bought trees from us putting them up and decorating them. I sure am looking forward to next week. Hugs, purrs, whicker kisses, paw-pats and head bonks, Stinky ❣️

What a wonderful adventure you two had this week. We have to put our tree up and maybe we will teleport over to the farm and get one. You two make such a cute couple I wonder what you will get each other for Catmus. Stinky you take your medication and we purr you do really well without any problems.
