Today's photo prompt is
Double Dutch
Our Mom remembers Double Dutch
Some kids were good, her not so much!
She wasn't very good at sports
Just thinking about it made her out of sorts.
Something as simple as jumping rope
Simple for others but out of her scope.
It sure looked like lots of fun.
One misstep for her and she was done!

Today is also Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
While we are NOT Thankful that Mom missed being first to comment on the Tuesday Teaser, we are THANKFUL that she was one of the right guessers and got this cool badge!

the mama was no hero at that front... two ropes were to much for her and it ended often with hurt knees and a hurt ego LOL
Double Dutch was a double no for me!
Yep I 100% agree with your Mom on the double dutch.
My daddy used to tell me I could not walk and chew gum at the same time....when it came to jump rope but I could SKATE

Double Dutch was a challenge.....and I was a major klutz but I managed to do well (amazing). I actually preferred hop scotch and jacks - especially jacks.
GOOD JOB!

Thanks for sharing your wonderful poem. We remember double dutch when we were much younger. I don't think it's a good idea to try this again at our age. LOL!! Have a great day.

Great poem and congrats on getting the teaser correct. XO
Even if our moms were not first commenters, they both got badges for being right. That’s cool too! Our mom never even tried double Dutch. They didn’t do a lot of jump roping at her school. She used to jump rope by herself at home. Now she can’t jump at all. Mau sends Allie all his love and oodles of smooches. Sawyer sends Noelle whisker kisses and purrs. I never did much skipping at school, I feel I missed out!!!
