The Adventures of Periwinkle and Stinky

It was Periwinkle's favorite day - Tuesday!!  She couldn't wait to hear the WOOSH come from the Teleportation Tunnel that would signal Stinky's arrival.  She considered herself a very lucky girlcat to have such a special boyfriend.

WOOOSH.....there he was tumbling right into her paws.  The two hugged, giggled and shared whisker kisses.  "I sure missed you this week" said Periwinkle.  Stinky said he missed her too and always looked forward to their time together.  "So, what's up for this week?" asked Stinky.  Periwinkle said they would be staying at her house and that she would be showing him all the wonderful cards, gifts and graphics that they received after losing Angel Allie.  "I hope this isn't going to make you sad" said Periwinkle.  Stinky said he understood because he and his Mom often spent time in the garden talking to Angel Mau.

"Look at all the cards and gifts" said Periwinkle.

"Why are there two urns?" asked Stinky.  Periwinkle explained that her Mom put Ellie and Allie next to each other since they were loving sisters.

"First, I wanted to share the two letters we got.  Our wonderful Vet sent this one...

And this came from the Chapel that did the Cremation.  We're all familiar with the Rainbow Bridge poem but it is always nice to read it again.

Our vet also sent a pawprint heart" said Periwinkle

"Wow Periwinkle, that was super nice of them."  Periwinkle said that their favorite Vet Tech, Cheryl, made that.

"Look at these beautiful cards" said Stinky

Periwinkle took Stinky over to her Mom's computer to show him the lovely graphics they received.

"This one was from Ann of Zoolatry....

Denmaster from Cat Scouts did this one....

Teddy sent this one of Allie and Mau together....

and this one came from Mom Ingrid at Meezer's Mews and Terrieristical Woods

And Mom Laura (Mom's Facebook friend) sent this one."

"Gee Periwinkle, those are all beautiful.  I got a little leaky eyed seeing Angels Allie and Mau" said Stinky.  Perwinkle said that real ManCats express their feelings and that was one of the things she loved about him.  Of course, that made Stinky blush.

"CatP from Cat Scouts sent us this beautiful wind chime.  The wings are stained glass and it sounds like angel wings" said Periwinkle.

Periwinkle explained that Teddy sent this sweet pillow that Mom often hugs.  The heart-shaped ornament came with it.

"Stinky, you probably already know about this one since your Mom Janet sent it" said Periwinkle.  Stinky said he couldn't wait to see it in purrson.

"Wow, that's really beautiful and really does look like Allie" said Stinky.  Perwinkle said Mom loves wearing it because it makes her feel like Allie is close to her.

"I don't know about you, but I am STARVING" said Periwinkle.  Let's head to our favorite spot outside for a snack."   The tabbies raced to the door!

While munching on Temptations and Fancy Feast, Periwinkle and Stinky talked about how wonderful the Cat Blogosphere is and how thoughtful their friends are.  After their snack, they spent some time holding paws, sharing whisker kisses, and headbonks.

Soon it was time for Stinky to be on his way home.  Neither wanted the day to end but they knew his Mom and fursibs missed him.  One more hug and into the Teleportation Tunnel he went.  With the familiar WOOOSH, he was on his way home.  Periwinkle curled up next to Angel Ellie and Allie's urns and fell asleep dreaming about her special ManCat.

We want to thank everyone who left a message, sent an email, sent a card or a gift, or did a graphic.  We really appreciate your caring!!  We miss our sweet Allie very much.

Such wonderful friends and rememberaces of Allie. With all the hate and unrest in our world, it is so heart-warming to know that so many still care about the loss of a loved one. Allie was a real beauty and gentle lady and the love of Mau’s life. We hate they are gone but happy they are together. Sending lots of love 💓from all of us and our mom. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, angel Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer with whisker kisses and head bonks from him for Noelle.
