The Adventures of Periwinkle and Stinky

 

Periwinkle snoozed in a sun puddle near her fursibs.  WAIT?   WHAT?  Why isn't she waiting at the Teleportation Tunnel for Stinky?   Did they have a disagreement?  

Periwinkle woke up and realized their friends were already here to visit and explained.  "Don't worry friends, everything is fine.  Stinky came by on Saturday so we could have a very special Adventure.  We decided to share it with you today because today is the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi the Patron Saint of Animals."

Flashback to Saturday afternoon...

Periwinkle stood by the Teleportation Tunnel, so thrilled to have her boyfriend Stinky arrive 3 days early for their Adventure. With a WOOSH, Stinky tumbled out of the Tunnel and into her waiting paws.

After some whisker kisses and paw pats he gave her a confused look and said "Why am I here today?  It's not Tuesday?"  Periwinkle smiled and told him they had something special planned for the day.  She led him to her Mom's car so they could go on their Adventure.  Before he put his seatbelt on, Stinky went into the front seat and wondered why Reesie and photos of Raz, Noelle and his fursib Sawyer were there too but he figured he would let Periwinkle explain.

They didn't go very far when Periwinkle's Mom said they were at their destination and they got out of the car.  They saw lots of woofies but no other cats.

Of course, everyone knew of the famous Periwinkle and Stinky and they were all excited to meet them!

Before the Blessing started, they introduced themselves to Father Scott and told him they were there with Reesie and that they brought their photos since Raz, Noelle and Sawyer couldn't be there.

Soon, the blessing started.

They watched while Father Scott blessed the woofies.

They waited patiently with Reesie for their turn.

Soon it was their turn to be blessed.

When the blessing ended, they all piled back into Periwinkle's Mom's car to head back to the house.  They thanked Reesie for letting them go with her and had some snacks before it was time for Stinky to head back home.  They also visited with Raz and told him how proud they were of him being so good at his visit to the stabby place and for being such a good boy taking his supplement pill.

Of course, there was time for whisker kissing and paw patting and snuggling before it was time for Stinky to leave.  They both agreed it was great to see each other early but Tuesday wouldn't be the same without a visit. 

With one last whisker kiss, Stinky jumped into the Teleportation Tunnel and headed home.  He couldn't wait to tell his fursib Sawyer that they had both been blessed.
