The Adventures of Periwinkle and Stinky

Periwinkle sat at the entrance to the Teleportation Tunnel waiting for her boyfriend, Stinky, to arrive.  She always was excited when she knew he was arriving and she kept pacing back and forth.  Suddenly, she heard the familiar WOOSH, and out tumbled Stinky.  They spent some time catching up on the last week and whisker kissing.  Periwinkle took Stinky's paw and lead him back to the tunnel.  "We're only going to Miami but it's a three-hour car trip so we're using the Tunnel to save time," said Periwinkle.

It only took a few seconds for them to arrive at their destination.  Stinky looked confused and asked if they went to the Catskills by mistake.  Periwinkle laughed and said they did not but their adventure was similar to Cat'n Around.  (PS...if you missed that Adventure, click HERE)

Periwinkle explained that this is called the Dogs and Cats Walkway and is at Maurice A. Ferre park in Miami.

Paw in paw they strolled through the park looking at the sculptures.

Mia looked pretty intense so they quickly moved on...

They both liked that Alegria had both cats and dogs painted on her.

Both tabbies agreed that Toulouse was a lot friendlier looking!

Always the climber, Stinky hopped on Analia.

"I hope these two don't start smackypaw" said Stinky.  They both giggled at that!

Periwinkle loved the look on Calipso's face!

They thought the tiger stripe cat was a bit scary...

Periwinkle said, "Look at this one Stinky.  Do you think you're related since his name is Sky BLUE?"  Stinky areed it could be a possibility.

They both loved Zepe with his beautiful colors!

Of course, they also saw some of the dogs.  They gasped at the size of the Great Dane!

Soon it was time for them to head back to Periwinkle's house.  After a super fast trip in the Tunnel, they spent some time visiting with her fursibs and had a quick snack.  As always, Periwinkle's house was decorated for Easter.

After their snack, they snuggled together and shared paw pats and whisker kisses.  Soon it was time for Stinky to head home.  With one last whisker kiss, he headed into the Tunnel and, with a WOOSH, was on his way home.

Periwinkle, this is one of the coolest places ever. My mom is so jealous. She’d love to see this place in person. Thank you for taking me. I am really lucky my mom let me come today. I had a super bad seizure last night. She knew, however, that you would take good care of me. It sure would be fun to have one of those cats on display in our yards. With all my love an oodles of whisker kisses, Stinky. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, angel Mauricio, Misty May, angel Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Sawyer, Kizmet, Audrey & Raleigh

Charlee: "Nice to see that someone has erected a proper temple to the glory that is us cats."
Chaplin: "Yeah too bad they had to spoil it by throwing in some dog sculptures."
Lulu: "Hey! What's wrong with dog sculptures?"
Chaplin: "Besides that they aren't cats, you mean?"

What an incredibly amazing place! Such fabulous artwork too and if I had to pick a favorite I don't think I could as they're all really gorgeous. That was a good idea for a trip that wasn't TOO far away from Raz's house too.

Hugs, Teddy
