The Adventures of Periwinkle and Stinky

 

Tuesday was finally here.  It was Periwinkle's favorite day and it was longer than usual since she saw Stinky since the last Adventure she and Stinky had was on a Saturday.  Click HERE if you missed that fabulous Adventure.  She knew she could never match the fun visit they had but she hoped Stinky would enjoy what she planned.

Suddenly, the Teleportation Tunnel shook and, with a WOOSH, out popped Stinky.  They shared whisker kisses and paw pats and hugs.  Eager to find out what was planned Stinky asked Periwinkle what she decided on.  She replied, "We're doing a couple of different things today since Thanksgiving is Thursday and Friday is Black Friday and Saturday is a special day for one for your alter-ego Sawyer.

First, they hopped into the Teleportation Tunnel to visit a turkey farm near Periwinkle's house.  As was their custom, they brought disguises for the turkeys.

The turkeys were all very excited and happy to hear that Periwinkle and Stinky were there to save them.

They were greeted by a friendly woofie who was helping to guard the turkeys.

The woofie took the bag of disguises and promised to pass them out to the turkeys for Periwinkle and Stinky.

They reminisced about the previous years and the fun times they had helping other turkeys.

They shared some funny 'toons with the turkeys.

Soon Periwinkle said, "Stinky I heard there are some chicks here.  I know we have to go but can we please visit them?"  Of course, Stinky could never refuse anything Periwinkle asked so they headed over to visit with the chicks.  Periwinkle couldn't resist a photo with them.

Wishing the turkeys good luck, they hopped into the Teleportation Tunnel and headed back to Periwinkle's house.  Holding paws, they headed into the dining room where Reesie had set up the laptop for the next part of their Adventure.

"Friday after Thanksgiving is a big shopping day and I figured we should share some of the Cat Blogosphere member's sites so our pals could support them," said Periwinkle.  Stinky agreed and said Periwinkle was so nice to want to help other Bloggers.  They went right to the Cat Blogosphere's Shop with Friends page

Periwinkle remembered what a good shopper Angel Raz was.

Both tabbies agreed that there were some pawsome gifts on Etsy for cats and for the parents too.  They started looking but realized there were so many choices they would spend all day looking.  You can click on the Etsy link and put in Christmas Cat to see loads of great gift ideas or just click HERE.

"What else are we doing?" asked Stinky.  Periwinkle laughed and said they were going to wish Sawyer an early Happy Gotcha Day since his Gotcha Day was coming up on Saturday.

As was their custom, the tabbies headed to the beach wearing their disguises for a quick snack before Stinky had to head home.

Not wanting Stinky to leave right away, Periwinkle suggested they watch a YouTube video and snuggle which he immediately said YES to!

They also took a Selfie with Mr. Turkey.

Finally, Stinky had to head home.  They shared more paw pats and whisker kisses as he headed into the Teleportation Tunnel.  They each wished the other a Happy Thanksgiving and, with a WOOSH, he was on his way home.   

Periwinkle snuggled up in a sun puddle and watched the video again while thinking of her handsome boyfriend and looking forward to next Tuesday.
